Automotive Lift Safety Class

In this class, students will learn to safely use Triumph Workshop’s two-post automotive lift. Instruction will cover how to find a vehicle’s safe lifting points, how to lift the vehicle and check for stability, safe working practices while a vehicle is in the air, and how to safely lower the lift.
During the first hour, students will spend time in the classroom completing the American Lift Institute’s online safety training, Lifting It Right. Afterwards, they will proceed to the shop for the hands-on portion where they will have the opportunity to lift their own car!
Ages: 18+
Prerequisite: None
Attire: Clothing you don’t mind getting dirty and closed toed shoes. Tie up long hair and beards
Class may be cancelled/rescheduled if minimum class size is not met 3 days prior.
