In this introduction to ceramics, students will learn beginner techniques working with clay. Rolling clay into a slab is a great way for beginning potters to create beautiful pieces and to learn the fundamentals of manipulating clay, joining clay pieces, and safely firing and glazing. Students will make a tray, vase, or pot then add their own personal touches to make it unique.
Students must be able to attend both parts of this class – Tuesday, October 17th from 6:30 to 9:30pm and Sunday, October 29th from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Finished pieces will be fired and ready for pickup after November 13th. One ticket provides access to both parts of this class and all supplies needed.
Cost: $60 (one ticket includes both parts)
Attire: Comfortable clothing that can get a bit messy
Instructor: Cassie H.
Class may be cancelled/rescheduled if minimum class size is not met 3 days prior.
