Inkscape Intro Class

Inkscape: Vector Design for All Tools What do the Laser & the CNC Router have in common? The same thing as the Vinyl Cutter, the Plasma Cutter, and the Wazer – they all use Vector files. Inkscape is a power program to create and edit vector files. It is FREE and works with Windows, Linux, and MacOS. In class, students will learn to convert an image into a vector file and trace an image to create a vector, as well as other powerful fundamentals for creating logos, keychains, and more. Students will have time to practice what they learn in class. At the end of class, they’ll all have a file to can use on the above tools, as well as a Cricut and Silhouette.
