Metal Lathe Basics – Part B

In this class, students will learn basic metal lathe safety and operations. Instruction will cover

• Lathe Parts and Controls
• Tool Types and Holders
• Workholding Techniques
• Facing, Turning to Diameter, Drilling, etc.

Students must attend both nights – Part A & Part B – in order to be checked-out to use the metal lathe. One ticket, (which must be purchased on the event page for Part A) provides access to both nights.

Ages: 16+
Prerequisite: None
Open to the public.
Class may be cancelled/rescheduled if minimum class size is not met 3 days prior.
