Welding & Metalshop Basics - Firepits

This two-part class will teach aspiring welders how to safely use tools in the metalshop, including welders, a cutoff saw, the Ironworker, angle grinders, bench grinders, and maybe even a plasma cutter if time allows. Students will begin with an introduction and will end the class with vast knowledge, plus a fire pit that is ready to take home and use. No previous experience is required to take this class.

Students must attend both nights – Part A & Part B – and one ticket, (which must be purchased on the event page for Part A) provides access to both.

Ages: 16+
Attire: Long-sleeved shirts, long pants, close-toed shoes (all natural materials if possible, like cotton, leather, etc).
Prerequisite: None
Note: Class may be cancelled/rescheduled if minimum class size is not met 3 days prior.
