The honest answer to “how much does this cost?” — what's included, what isn't, and how the program is funded.
Forge The Future costs $200, and the fee can be paid over time. Income replacement grants are available to those who qualify, so participants can earn while they learn. Graduates who secure a job may receive up to $400 in tools and equipment.

- Classroom instruction from experienced trade professionals.
- Supervised shop time with access to Triumph Workshop's full tool range during training hours.
- OSHA 10 card and OSHA fall protection certificate for building-trades participants; forklift training for all participants.
- Financial literacy, communication skills, resume building, and interview coaching.
- Program-completion documentation to show a hiring employer.

What participants are responsible for
- Transportation to and from the shop at 2501 Burbank Street, Dallas.
- Personal items such as closed-toe boots and weather-appropriate clothing.
- Any optional third-party certification exams.
- Background checks, if required by a prospective employer after program completion.

Common questions
- Is there any hidden cost?
- The program fee is $200 and it can be paid over time. Beyond that there are no lab fees or equipment-rental charges for training. Anything else a participant needs to provide is disclosed in writing in the application packet for the cohort.
- Can I earn a wage during the program?
- Forge The Future is a pre-apprenticeship, meaning it prepares you to enter a paid apprenticeship or first job after completion. Wages begin once you are hired by an employer following the program.
- Do I get a certificate?
- Building-trades participants earn their OSHA 10 card and OSHA fall protection certificate, and all participants are taught to safely operate a forklift with the opportunity to gain a Class 1-7 Forklift Certification.
- What if I can't finish the program?
- Participants who need to withdraw for personal reasons are welcome to reapply for a future cohort. Contact the program office about the $200 fee if you have already begun paying it.
- Are gift cards or scholarships needed?
- No. The $200 fee can be paid over time, and income replacement grants are available to those who qualify — no scholarship, gift card, or loan is required to enroll.
